Privacy
The short version: no account, no login, and we never ask for your name, address, email, or phone number. The planner runs in your browser. We measure anonymous usage to improve the product, but we do not collect questionnaire values, property notes, element text, copied text, or URL query strings.
Your questionnaire stays on your device
When you fill out the planner and generate a report, all of it happens in your web browser. Your answers are used to build your plan on your own device. We don't require you to sign in, and by default your answers are not sent to or stored on any server — close the tab and they're gone.
Anonymous product analytics
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand whether the site is useful: pages viewed, buttons and links clicked, planner steps completed, plans generated, scroll depth, active time, browser type, approximate country or region, and page performance. Planner events contain only fixed labels and counts — for example, project type, municipality slug, and whether an optional field was filled in. They never contain the field's value.
Cloudflare may provide aggregate traffic and performance counts as part of hosting the site. PostHog provides product events, heatmaps, dead-click detection, funnels, and masked session replay. PostHog runs in cookieless mode: it does not set an analytics cookie or store an analytics identity in your browser. We do not identify visitors or create profiles tied to a person.
For session replay, every form input and all rendered page text are masked in your browser before data is sent. Console logs are not recorded, request or response bodies are not collected, and query strings are removed from captured URLs. PostHog honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Checking your setting…
This preference controls PostHog events and replay and is saved in this browser. Clearing site data also clears it. Cloudflare still processes the minimum technical information needed to serve and secure the site and may provide us with aggregate traffic counts.
Two optional AI features
Two parts of the planner are powered by AI, and both are optional:
- The "anything else we should know about your property" note in step 3.
- The "Add AI explanation" button on your report.
If — and only if — you use one of these, the answers you entered in the questionnaire, together with the relevant public municipal data, are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, through its API) to write your personalized text. We send only what you typed into the form. We do not ask for, and do not send, your name, street address, email, or any contact information, so this text isn't tied to your identity. If you leave the note blank and don't press the AI button, no questionnaire answers or property note are sent to the AI provider.
We do not log the note, questionnaire answers, AI request body, or AI response. Operational logs contain only bounded labels such as a municipality slug, known condition flags, and coarse topic categories.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no passwords, no login.
- No advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
- No sale of visitor data and no use of analytics data for targeted advertising.
- No capture of questionnaire values, free-text notes, copied text, or contact information in analytics.
Where the site runs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard technical request information such as IP addresses to serve pages and protect against abuse. Product analytics use PostHog. The optional AI features use Anthropic as described above.
A reminder
This site offers planning guidance, not legal advice, and does not guarantee permit approval. Always confirm current rules, forms, and fees with your municipality before building.
